Why ADI

Achievement Dynamics (ADI) and our corporate partner, Lean Learning Center, over the last 16 years, has worked with many, many companies in almost every industry segment. The collective years of all that experience combined with significant research has confirmed that, unfortunately, many companies are failing on their lean journey. They are either making performance gains and sliding back or their improvement plateaus far short of the potential. Either way, we consider this a failure. What we have discovered and subsequently validated, is that there are two primary reasons for this failure. First, companies focus on the tools of lean (Five S's, kaizens, kanbans, etc.) in the absence of the rules and principles (thinking) of lean. Lean is a human system and improvement can only be sustained and continued when you affirm the thinking (the culture) of an organization. The second reason is the failure of leadership to engage in the journey and to exhibit the lean behavior required to institutionalize lean. ADI is dedicated to assisting companies in avoiding or overcoming these failures and in achieving overwhelming success along the lean journey.

Equally important is the fact that we understand that there is no "one size fits all" approach to a lean transformation. Each company has its own objectives, issues and concerns and the approach from one company should not be force to fit into another. We are experts at analyzing each company individually to determine the best course of action based on where that company is and where they want to go.

Achievement Dynamics' expertise includes on-site assessments, lean project management, lean training, and a wide variety of expert consulting services. The DNA of our approach is learn, apply, reflect; training without application does not work, and application without reflection diminishes continuous improvement. By identifying opportunities within a client organization and using proven principles and practices of lean systems, organizational development, human resource development, and process improvement, we partner with our clients to deliver sustainable operational performance.

In collaboration with our clients, we strive to transfer the skills and knowledge necessary for linking vision to sustained performance. As this process continues and clients become more engaged and skilled in "leading for change", their dependence on us diminishes.
